Mayor Aleksander Saša Arsenovič hosted Economic & Commercial Officer Don Baker, 14 chiefs of mission, and Foreign Minister Miro Cerar on May 24 to discuss the mayor’s economic revitalization program for downtown Maribor and opportunities for cooperation between embassies and the municipality. Afterward, the mayor treated his guests to a walking tour of downtown Maribor, a dinner prepared by students from Maribor’s Secondary School of Hospitality and Tourism, and Opera Night in City Park, a nationally-televised performance by the Maribor Opera House Choir accompanied by the Symphony Orchestra SNG Maribor.
