Deputy Public Affairs Officer Brian Street, a former lawyer, met with international law students from the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Law. They discussed consular and diplomatic law, and its implementation and importance in the real life of an American diplomat.
Economic and Commercial Officer, Dr. Don Baker—a former professor—discussed the American presidency to a middle school students of OŠ Stična – Branch School Zagradec. After Dr. Baker briefly introduced the basic facts about the American presidency and presidential powers, he focused on some of American history’s most influential and unforgettable Presidents. The school children also had the opportunity to ask Dr. Baker a variety of questions.
Military Liaison Officer Luke Jones visited OŠ Žirovnica to meet more than 50 middle school students and introduce them to “The Lone Star State” (Texas) with a personal and unique look at the geography, people and culture of one of America’s largest states, and to answer the students’ questions about the United States. He also brought some fun souvenirs to share with the students, who enjoyed learning about Luka Dončić’s new home!
