U.S. Embassy Health Alert: Ljubljana fire fumes / Anniversary (11 September)
Dear American Citizen in Slovenia:
- Location: Ljubljana
- Event: Last night (10 September) there was a large fire in Vič. While extinguished, fumes spread over the city of Ljubljana.
- Actions to Take: The Slovenian government has advised city residents to close windows when indoors and wear a mask when outdoors.
Separately, on this anniversary of 9-11, our thoughts are with our fellow American citizens. The Embassy’s flag was lowered to half-staff at 8:46 a.m. this morning.
