Payment Methods & Details

The passport fees can be paid at the Embassy during your appointment. Payment may be made in U.S. Dollars, Euro or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Diners Club). Personal checks are not accepted.

You must book an appointment at U.S. Embassy Ljubljana using our scheduling system.

Security Information

  • Do not bring mobile phones or any electronic devices, such as Blackberries, iPods, or PDAs as they are not allowed within the Embassy.
  • Due to limited storage space and to facilitate your entry into the consulate, please do not bring large bags, suitcases, backpacks, and packages.
  • Baby food and/or essential medications should be brought to the attention of the guards.
  • Once you enter the screening area, be prepared to remove all metallic items, together with your coat/jacket, belt, handbag/rucksack/briefcase, etc.
