Establishing Slovenia’s first Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC)

AmCham CEO Ajša Vodnik and Embassy leadership signed a charter to establish Slovenia’s first Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC).  OSAC is the U.S. government’s premier public-private global security partnership and establishing an OSAC Council in Slovenia will allow the Embassy to share timely and relevant security information and expert briefings on a range of security-related topics to the local private sector.  Establishing OSAC, and its continued support, will help create an even stronger relationship with AmCham Slovenia and U.S. and Slovenian businesses in country.
Quote from Ambassador Blanchard:
“I’m extremely excited to join @AmChamSlovenia in announcing the launch of our Overseas Security Advisory Council. This new partnership will ensure effective security collaboration between local businesses and the U.S. Embassy, and is yet another reflection of our commitment to work together to promote security and prosperity for Slovenians and Americans.”
