The Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ljubljana currently administers:

NGO Small Grants, which support activities that build and enhance relationships between Slovenia and the United States through bilateral cooperation, highlight shared values, and promote mutual understanding through topics including democracy and human rights, security and defense issues, economic and business development and more.

Cultural Grants, which support artistic and cultural performances, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and readings whose aim is to promote and deepen the understanding and appreciation of the diversity of American culture in Slovenia.

Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF) 2022 grants aim to support alumni-led initiatives that increase collaboration between alumni of U.S. government sponsored program like the Fulbright, IVLP, Ron Brown Fellowship, YTILI and more, as well as supporting U.S. foreign policy objectives and benefiting local communities.
