U.S. Embassy in Slovenia

The Office of Defense Cooperation in Ljubljana is one of several agencies of the American Embassy in Slovenia. The ODC is responsible for coordinating security cooperation programs with the Slovenian Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces with specific focus on strengthening coalitions, improving bilateral military relationships, and increasing interoperability with U.S. and NATO forces.

The State Partnership Program (SPP) with the Colorado National Guard has been fundamental to the U.S. – Slovenian security cooperation relationship since the program’s inception in 1993.
