From a tiny black speck to the global fight against climate change

Black carbon is one of the main contributors to climate change. U.S. scientist Tony Hansen paved the way to measure black carbon and eventually opened a world-renowned company Aerosol in Ljubljana. In December 2021, U.S. State Department recognised Aerosol‘s research in measuring and combatting black carbon with the Award for Corporate Excellence (ACE).
